Spent this yucky rainy and cold day running errands with Daddy and getting ready for baby's arrival tomorrow! Safina was at Gigi's having a ball! So excited to meet my new little one, but also sad to lose the baby belly, feeling her move, and having her all to myself! Our world is changing tomorrow, and we couldn't be more excited!

We are also still undecided on baby's name. Here is a list of some of our favorites:

Last doctor's appointment! Heartbeat was 136! Mommy has only gained 14 pounds. Baby is sounding good! She is coming in 4 days! SO EXCITED! Mommy has a head cold, and is really hoping it will be gone this weekend, so I don't have to worry about being sick with a c-section and a new baby! Let's hope we are germ free by Monday! The next few days we will be busy finishing up getting ready for baby, and cleaning the house and disinfecting EVERYTHING! Yay baby sister will be here soon!

37 weeks and 4 days! Baby is coming so soon! YIPPEE!! I had a doctors appointment today, and everything is good. My blood pressure went down a bit and the baby's heart rate was up around 150, but I think she was just awake this time!

Earlier this week baby was moving and kicking up a storm and I said to Safina "there's a party in my tummy!". She looked back at me all excited and said "I want cake!". LOL! Then I had to explain how there really wasn't a party, etc.

Doctor's appointment today. My first internal for this pregnancy. Everything is looking good, baby is still up high, and I am not dilated. I have only gained 11 pounds this pregnancy so far! Not too bad! Getting very uncomfortable. Can't wait for this little one to come!

35 weeks and 2 days! Last ultrasound today! Baby is looking great, definitely a girl! Has lots of hair, just like Safina did, and is measuring at the 50th percentile! She is about 5lbs 14oz and her heart rate was 135. The ultrasound technician was trying to get a 3D shot, and baby did not want to cooperate. She put her arm up to block her face, so we bounced her around a bit and she just got mad, and stuck her tongue out at us a few times, and made a cry face! Another stubborn girl! She will fit right in!

Uncle Kyle was kind enough to do a maternity photo shoot for us today! We got some cute photos of my baby belly and of us as a family! Thanks Uncle Kyle! (on a side note, I must say it is so hard for me to be in front of the camera!)

33 1/2 weeks! Heartbeat was 144 at the doctors this week! Feeling good but with lots of aches and pains with this one! Much more uncomfortable then I ever was with Safina. She is quite the mover, there is a party in my tummy a few times a day! I love it, but sometimes it hurts! I am getting so excited for this little one, we can't wait to meet her, just a few short weeks away!

Gigi gave us a countdown chain today! EEKK!!! SO excited! Only 6 weeks or 42 days left! Safina loves taking a loop off every day! So fun! Can't wait to meet you baby-with-no-name!

Daddy and I did a hospital tour tonight, to check out where to go and the procedures for when I have my c-section on Oct 17. The whole time we were there, baby was kickin' up a storm! I think she knew where we were and wanted out! Not yet little one! Soon enough!

First night where my legs were really swollen, either I am not drinking enough water (very good chance), up on my feet too much, and sitting too long, or something else. Let's hope it is just the things I can fix! Gonna try and lay low tomorrow!

Doctors appointment this morning. Everything is good. Measuring right on, and baby's heart sounds great! Safina came along and got to hear the baby! Scheduled my c-section for October 17th! YIKES!

HOLY COW I AM 29 1/2 WEEKS! How did this happen? I am getting so excited! Daddy painted the nursery last week, and now that the paint fumes are finally gone, Safina and I spent the day setting the nursery up! It is looking so cute! Still a little bit left to do, but feeling very accomplished! As I was unpacking clothes and organizing, Miss Safina starts this conversation:
S: "what's baby's name?" (I laugh b/c we have no idea!)
M: "what do you think baby's name should be?"
S: "cosmo?"
M: "no, not cosmo."
S: "because that's a doggy's name?" (our friend's dog is cosmo)
M: "yup, because that is the doggy's name!"

Started working on the nursery today! Daddy and Safina did the painting, while Mommy checked in on them. Can't wait to decorate (once the fumes go away)! We painted it a soft grey and going to be adding some pink accents!

Baby is doing great! I am 27 weeks today! We are getting so excited! Baby is very very active, kicking and moving all the time! I told Safina that she wants to come out to play, but that it is too soon! So we say "Stay in there baby and get big and strong!". So now she goes around telling people that "the baby in mommy's tummy wants to come out. NO! No! baby stay inside, don't come out yet!" She is going to be such a great big sister! She talks to my belly all the time.

This little princess is a squirm-er and kicker! I am almost 25 weeks and this little one is kicking up a storm! She loves moving around and kicking mommy! We can't wait to meet her (but we can, stay in there little one until October!)!

Doctor's appointment today. I am 22 almost 23 weeks! WOW! This is going fast! Baby's heartbeat is 138-140. Everything is going great! Feeling wonderful, just having trouble sleeping at night. We bought baby a new outfit yesterday, and Safina walked around saying "I buy clothes for baby in mommy's tummy"! She was telling everyone in the store, too cute!

This is one active little baby! She is always flipping around and kicking. I saw/felt my first outside kick today, that was so cool! The doctor said with an anterior placenta that I may not feel much from the outside. I was hoping I would get a few kicks so I wouldn't miss out on the experience! I am loving this little flipper inside me! Can't wait to meet her! Now if we could just find a name for her.

Baby's Gender Reveal Party! Yay! The theme was orange and yellow. People were to come dressed in the color (pink/blue) depending on what their vote was for the baby's gender. The surprise was revealed when we bit into the cupcakes revealing the PINK frosting in the middle! Yay for another baby girl! We are so excited!

I am 18 1/2 weeks today! And we had our BIG ultrasound! Baby is doing great! Looks healthy and developing perfectly! and It's a GIRL!!! I am shocked! I was convinced it was a boy! Tony was right all along! We are so excited to be adding another member to the family, and thrilled that Safina gets to have a sister to hang out with! We haven't told her or anyone yet because we are having a Gender Reveal Party next week, and will tell everyone then! We can't wait till the secret is out, this is hard to keep!

12 weeks 6 days! YAY! Feeling pretty good, minimal morning sickness, and I am getting my energy back! I had an ultrasound today too! Tony, unfortunately had to work, but Gigi was able to join me! Ultrasounds never cease to amaze me. I fell in love with my new little person immediately! Everything is looking really good! Baby slept through the whole thing, and we had to try and get him/her to move. We heard the heart beat at a steady 167! Baby kept its legs all tucked in so we weren't able to take a guess at the sex. Maybe next time! The technician also said I have an anterior placenta again, which means you can't feel movement/kicks from putting your hand on my belly (at least not very well). What a great experience! Big sister Safina had a blast playing with her buddies William and Madelyn! Thank you Ida for watching her for me!

New due date is October 24th! That makes me just over 9 1/2 weeks! Feeling pretty good! Had a doctors appointment this morning. Not terribly exciting, just talking, but I did get to hear little one's heartbeat. You can never get tired of that sound! We ask Safina if she wants a little baby in our house and she just says "no thank you"! Oh boy! Although she does like being called Big Sister!

I had been very nauseous and fatigued lately, but I got a reprieve from the nauseousness for the last week, so I am feeling pretty good, except for being kinda tired. I am now 8 weeks! So so excited! Oh and don't forget the occasional heartburn (which seems earlier then I had it with Safina, but I can't really remember). My guess is another baby with a full head of hair!

Another ultrasound today. I got to hear the heartbeat, it was so awesome. Safina was with me, but since the baby is still a little bean, she had no clue what is going on. Everything is looking great and my due date is estimated at October 28!

First Ultrasound today! Baby looks good, there is only one, and we saw the heart beat. We are still too early to hear it, but everything looks good! So excited! I am going for another ultrasound next week, so hopefully we can see more and hear the heartbeat!

First OB appointment today! Definitely pregnant! Due date is estimated at October 24, 2011! I have an ultrasound on Wednesday to take a look at things! Doctor doesn't want me doing any lifting or working out for a bit, but I can start up again once the cramping goes away!

We hung out at the Restaurant today and visited with Papa and Grandma Kathy. Safina had a blast, and we also told them the exciting news! They were very excited!

Fun bowling outing with Tony's family this afternoon, and we thought it was the perfect time to share the big news! Again, we used the "big sister" shirt! They were all super excited!

We told Mom, Andrew, Janet, Kyle and Sarah tonight! Well Safina did, with her shirt! They were all surprised and super happy! I think they new it was coming, and Mom said she thought I was, and I was like "how I didn't even know until yesterday". So we are all happy and Kyle immediately volunteered me as DD for Andrew and Janet's wedding!

Last night I decided to take a pregnancy test in the morning. Even though I am only 12 dpo. I thought what a neat day to tell Tony if I am pregnant! Well I didn't sleep very well, and had multiple dreams that I took a pregnancy test and it was positive (just like with Safina). So when I woke up, I just new I was. So I took the test and ta da! POSITIVE!! Baby LaDota #2 is on the way!

I didn't tell Tony in the morning, I thought that would be hard for him at work! So I kept the secret and made a little heart out of construction paper, and wrote: "Happy Valentine's Day Daddy! Love, Safina and Baby L #2" When he got home from work, I gave him his card, and he read it out loud, it was so cute. He read it twice and did a double take and was like, "wait, what, wait... you're pregnant? AWESOME!" It was so great! We are so thrilled after trying for a while now!

Best Valentine's Day EVER!!!

My estimated Due Date is October 22, 2011!

*According to Jamie, she thinks it is a boy, so I did the Chinese Gender Chart and it says boy too! So in my head, I am already thinking boy. We shall see!
